She appeared in Florida Championship Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling, and World Championship Wrestling where she was known under the ring name Woman.

In June 2007, Benoit and her son Daniel were victims of a murder-suicide committed by her husband, WWE professional wrestler Chris Benoit.
